Afghani

Description

Afghani is a pure indica, about as close to the classic landrace type as feminized seeds get. It’s built for growers who want a straightforward, low-maintenance plant with a heavy, earthy character rather than a tall, complicated grow.

Growing Afghani

Afghani is a photoperiod plant, so it stays vegetative until you cut the light to 12 hours on and 12 off, then it’s ready in 7 to 9 weeks. Because the yield runs on the smaller side, growers often plant a couple to make the most of a tent or garden bed. Our guide to choosing seeds for a Canadian climate is worth a look if you’re planning an outdoor grow, since this indica handles cooler conditions well.

Flavour and Effects

Afghani carries an earthy, spicy flavour typical of old-school indica genetics. People commonly describe the effect as calming and sleepy, often with a happy mood and an increased appetite along the way.
