Growing Acapulco Gold Feminized

Plan for patience with this one. As a photoperiod sativa dominant plant, it needs 9 to 11 weeks of 12/12 light before it’s ready, longer than many other strains in our shop, so give it the extra time on the calendar. Our week by week flowering guide is a handy reference for tracking progress through that stretch. It stays at a medium height and produces a medium yield, so a standard tent or a sunny garden bed both work well. If you’d rather skip the wait, the Acapulco Gold Autoflower version finishes faster on its own schedule.

Flavour and Effects

The buttery and sweet flavour sits over an earthy base, giving a smooth, rounded smell through the grow room. Growers describe the effect as energetic and talkative at first, easing into a calming body high with euphoric and sleepy notes later on.
