Slurricane

Description

If you want a photoperiod hybrid that grows tall and finishes with real weight to the buds, Slurricane is worth a look. This feminized seed is an even 50/50 hybrid with a tropical flavour and a THC range on the high end, so it suits growers who already have some experience. It stretches more than most strains in this lineup, so plan for a taller setup indoors or a bit more space outdoors.

Growing Slurricane

Slurricane’s biggest quirk is its height. At 5 to 7 feet tall, it needs more vertical room than a typical medium strain, so growers working in a tent often use some early topping or low-stress training to keep it manageable. If you’re still deciding between this photoperiod hybrid and an autoflower for your next grow, our autoflower vs photoperiod guide breaks down the trade-offs.

Being photoperiod, it stays vegetative until you cut the light to 12/12 or the outdoor days shorten, then it runs 7 to 9 weeks to finish. Expect a medium yield for the size of the plant, so support the branches once the buds start to fill in.

Flavour and Effects

Slurricane brings a straightforward tropical flavour with a high THC range to match. Most people describe the effects as euphoric and happy at first, moving into relaxed, sleepy and uplifted territory as it wears on, which makes it a strain growers tend to save for evenings.
